Non-Profits: Define your brand to define your future

Join the Non-Profit SIG on Thursday June 19, 2008, at the Scarritt Bennett Center for a roundtable discussion of the critical importance of branding to help non-profits raise funds, attract volunteers, and sustain good will.  This discussion will feature speakers representing non-profits and non-profit management/consulting organizations. Register online.

Even though most non-profits don't have the budget to spend on broad “branding” campaigns, their brands are nevertheless key in generating support from donors, influencers and other audiences. How people "feel" about a non-profit — whether or not it's truly doing good work, being a good steward with donations, achieving results, and worthy of support — is a reflection of the brand.

The panel discussion would include some of Nashville’s most visible and respected non-profits and marketing consulting organizations to share how they have developed and communicated successful brands. Panelists include:

  • Chuck Creasy, Vice President of Creative Services, Nashville Convention and Visitor’s Bureau
  • Nelson Eddy, Partner/Creative Director, Dye Van Mol & Lawrence
  • Marsha Edwards, CEO, Martha O’Bryan Center
  • Jeff Lipscomb, President/Co-Owner, Gish Sherwood and Friends
